You don't feel the pressure. You carry it.

Every day. The expectations. The decisions. The responsibility. And most of the time, you handle it.

But there are moments. This isn't about capability. It's about what happens in the moments you don't fully see.

  • Conversations that don't go the way you intended
  • Decisions that feel heavier than they should
  • Reactions you only realise afterwards
  • Pressure that follows you home

Most leaders won't say this out loud.

But behind the performance, something else is happening. Not enough to break things — but enough to affect your clarity, your consistency, and your impact.

Decision fatigue

The weight of constant choices, where every call carries consequences you can't always offload.

Delayed conversations

The ones you know need to happen — the ones that quietly cost you trust, time, and momentum.

Unspoken frustration

With how others respond. With how much you're carrying. With the gap between intention and impact.

Pressure doesn't create behaviour. It reveals it.

And in those moments, something else happens. You leave an impression — in how you respond, how you communicate, how others experience you.

You leave a fingerprint. On your team. On your relationships. On the culture around you.

Jim Rees

Hi, I'm Jim Rees.

For over 25 years, I've worked with leaders and senior teams to help them perform more effectively under pressure. What I've consistently seen is this: most leadership challenges aren't about capability — they're about how people think, respond, and behave in the moments that matter most.

Alongside leadership development, I've also competed in some of the toughest endurance events in the world — including completing the Race Across America solo and 17 Ironman triathlons.

"Pressure doesn't create behaviour. It reveals it."
Institute of Leadership

Approved by the Institute of Leadership

Meets recognised professional standards for leadership development.

Nearly two-thirds of CEOs do not receive outside leadership advice — but nearly all want it.
— This programme gives you that space to think, reflect, and develop.

This isn't for everyone.

It's for leaders who are ready to:

  • Look more honestly at how they operate
  • Take responsibility for how they respond
  • Improve the impact they have on others

If that resonates, the next step is simple.
